From Humble Beginnings Comes a Monster

Charles Frederick Albright was born on August 10, 1933, to a sixteen-year-old girl whose parents didn’t think she was ready to assume the responsibilities of motherhood. In the hopes of giving him a better life, the baby was turned over to an orphanage only hours after entering the world.

Three weeks later, he was adopted by a grocer named Fred Albright and his wife Delle. Overjoyed to finally have the child she had always wanted, the new mom couldn’t get enough of the delightful bundle of joy.

Right from the start, it was clear that the boy they named Charles was exceedingly good natured. While other babies were fussy and demanding, he was happy to take things as they came with little complaint. As he grew, his serenity would be the envy of those around him. What his admirers didn’t know was that his easy- going facade hid a monster waiting to be unleashed.
