Daddy’s Girl: Teenager Pours Lye on Sleeping Father Over Missed Hair Appointment
On the morning of October 1, 2021, Megan Imirowicz was busy making preparations for her eighteenth birthday celebration, which was to take place in a swanky hotel later that day. Wanting to look her best for the occasion, she had scheduled an appointment at a salon to have her hair done. As usual, her doting father, Konrad, would be acting as her chauffeur.
Unfortunately for both of them, Konrad was a heavy drinker who had been hitting the bottle pretty hard that day, despite the early hour. Inebriated and in no condition to drive, he had laid down on the sofa and fallen asleep. When she couldn’t wake him, the realization that she was going to miss her hair appointment had made Megan’s blood boil. Rather than calling an Uber, she had taken the most drastic action imaginable.
Grabbing a container of drain cleaner, she had poured the caustic substance all over his body, from head to toe. She had then doused him with water. Whether it was her intention or not, this lethal combination caused a chemical reaction that had burned away his skin and eaten into the soft tissue.
A friend of Megan’s arrived on the scene a short time later and, after taking one look at Konrad, had called Oakland County, Michigan 911. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition…
