Police Find Human Body Parts in Kentucky Home
On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Robertson County, Kentucky police officers were dispatched to a rural home in Mount Olivet after receiving an urgent call from a man who had been hired to perform maintenance work on the property.
The gentleman explained that he and a coworker had arrived at the house on Brierly Ridge Road earlier that morning as scheduled, but no one answered their persistent knocks on the front door. When they went around back in search of the homeowner, they made a grisly discovery.
Positioned near the porch was a bloodstained mattress and what appeared to be clumps of hair. The men also noticed drag marks in the grass. When they followed the freshly made trail, it led them straight to a woman’s dismembered remains. Realizing they had stumbled upon something horrid; they had wasted no time calling police.
When officers arrived at the scene around one o’clock that afternoon, they were met with a sight straight out of a nightmare. Blood was present on the back porch leading down into the yard. A mattress stained with biological fluids was lying nearby.
The body, which was missing its arms, legs and head, had been dissected and the organs removed. A second mattress was discovered folded in half beside the torso with a portion of the missing organs sandwiched inside.
