She supposedly used the lye simply because it was handy. If that's truly the case and she has so little self-control, I pity anyone who makes her angry in the future. I can understand a teenager being upset with their father for drinking too much. I can even understand her frustration with missing the hair appointment. What doesn't make sense is her over the top reaction. I hope she learned a lesson but considering the ridiculously lenient sentence she received, it's doubtful.
