You're very welcome. You've made a great point here. Living in an age when we leave a virtual footprint nearly everywhere we go, it's hard to imagine a time, not so long ago, when people could drift through life unnoticed. With national fingerprint databases and DNA technology in their infancy and no personal tracking devices to speak of, the 60s, 70s and 80s were a serial killer's paradise. Since most, but not all, chose victims who led transient lifestyles, they were able to commit the most heinous crimes imaginable with little fear of being caught.
